We are in unprecedented times which has affected us all, a time that we will never forget in 2020, COVID-19. First Choice Home Care wants to reassure you that all our Carers and Staff are following practices and procedures, to the letter, to ensure that they and our Service Users are safe and the Company’s daily administration runs smoothly without interruption.
All our Carers have received training by our Company Trainer in Infection Control, which they receive refresher training in throughout the year, and they have all completed a COVID-19 Awareness Workbook by CQM Learning. Therefore, they are able to confidently deliver very skilled care with the knowledge of infections and infection control. During Induction Training our Carers also receive training in the correct use of PPE and hygiene. We are very proud to say that during lockdown, currently, only three of our Service Users throughout all of our branches have contracted Coronavirus (from a hospital admission) and they have all recovered.
Our offices are being run effectively by our Registered Managers and many of our staff are working from home; their support is paramount in enabling the continued smooth running of our branches and of the delivery of our excellent services to our Service Users. Of course, Data Protection, and confidentiality are also of paramount importance with employees working from home.
We will, during these challenging times, continue to deliver our highly skilled and quality services to our Services Users and will in the future, when eventually we are able to get back to some sort of normality.
First Choice Home Care hopes you feel confident in our ability to continue to provide the provision of care you have come to expect, and we want to wish our Service Users and their families well for the future and for them and our staff to keep safe, and to say how proud we are of our team of carers, office staff and management continuing to work during these very challenging times.
